My blog used to be called Brady’s News, Thoughts and Views. I changed it to Szabo Media Services because that is really what I deal in. Media. All sorts of media. I didn’t want to have two blogs and I am trying to offer a better page that deals with facebook and other social media. My site is a little rough looking, so please excuse the mess while I do some remodeling. Need to work on the appearance more tomorrow but want to keep the site active since so many people come here, ha ha, a few come here but they are a few that I care about.

Subaru has a nice little app that has you tell a story about your first car. I noticed comedian Erik Griffin (workaholics-comedy central) had it on his page. I thought it was really cool, so I tried it and it was a lot of fun. You do have to have a mic hooked up but you don’t need a camera. Oh, the memories and mixed emotions. I was so happy because I had a car but I was embarrassed because it was such a junker. I’d do it the same way again if I had the chance, just because of the mistakes you make, the bumps and bruises, so to speak. My first car was 1967 Volkswagen Beetle, Semi-Automatic. The Semi-Automatic has a stickshift but no clutch which was a cool feature. It took a lot of work to get that car up to highway speeds. It was such an eyesore but man we had great times in that car. Being it was a beetle and I was in high school, people would always try to mess with it and a few times it did get carried off or moved sideways in parking stalls. I remember one incident at McDonalds where football players grabbed the front bumper and as they started lifting, it gave away due to rust and it ended up pulling the flesh off of their hands. That night the score was Beetle-1, football players- 0. What great memories, except the coldness in the winter and no heat, except the heat from the motor, but since my exhaust leaked, fumes would fill the car. I always ended up dressing for the outdoors and had to drive with the windows down. What do you remember about your first car?
